Meet Our Teams

The Columbus Hotshots are entering our fourth season of professional pickleball – and the future has never been brighter.

We compete in Champions Series Pickleball (CSP), formerly known as the National Pickleball League (NPL). CSP is the premier professional pickleball league for athletes ages 35 and up, showcasing championship-level talent and competitive excellence across the country.

For the 2026 season, CSP has announced two different historic expansions – and the Columbus Hotshots are proud to be at the forefront of this exciting new chapter for our franchise.

Expanding the Hotshots Family

Until now, the Hotshots have fielded only one 50+ professional team. Beginning this season in 2026, we are expanding to three co-ed competitive divisions:

40+ Prime Division
50+ Premier Division
60+ Masters Division

Each team will be owned, coached, and managed by the Columbus Hotshots organization, creating a unified, competitive culture across generations of elite players.

AND… In March, we announced a partnership with Major League Pickleball. We will be licensing the MLP brand and jointly promoting it as the MLP Champions Series – presented by DOORDASH. Together, we will also collaborate on marketing, promotions, and media opportunities to grow the partnership and visibility of the rebranded MLP Champions Series.

A collection of joint match locations will be integrated with the 2026 MLP season schedule.
